BACKGROUND: At the January 5th council meeting, Mayor Cadenhead, seconded by Councilmember Beckstrom, moved
T0 APPROINT CHARLES CADENHEAD AND DALE DORSCHNER AS COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES TO THE EDA. Motion passed 5 – 0. Council member Holtz would like to reconsider that vote. If the vote is reconsidered, then the council may vote on the issue again.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Should the Council reconsider the vote on EDA appointments? If so, who should the Council appoint to the
Economic Development Authority? PROPOSAL: Given Council Member Dorschner’s work commitments and Council Member Holtz not having any committee assignments, Council Member Holtz has expressed an interest in serving on the EDA. The Council must first vote to reconsider the vote then can vote on making a different appointment. FISCAL IMPACT: NA OPTIONS: 1) Appoint ________________________and _______________ as Council representative to the EDA
