AGENDA ITEM: Accept Paid on Call Firefighter Resignations

BACKGROUND: POC Firefighter Brandon Peltier submitted his letter of resignation effective December 8, 2020. Brandon served the Lake Elmo Fire Department for 6 years. POC Firefighter Lawrence Cornell submitted his notice of resignation and retirement effective January 4, 2021. Lawrence served the Lake Elmo Fire Department for 10 years.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Should the Council accept the Letters of Resignation from Paid On Call Firefighters Brandon Peltier and Lawrence Cornell?
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: Staff is recommending the Council accept the letters.
RECOMMENDATION: If removed from consent agenda: Motion to accept the letters of resignation from Paid On Call Firefighters Brandon Peltier and Lawrence Cornell.
