Are expected to complete initial training in May. - Continued staffing challenges with several personnel balancing the PT or POC hours and their personal and professional responsibilities. - The new Tender 1 is in the final stages of completion and we are nearly ready to accept it into the fleet. Staff have begun in-service training on the new apparatus. - COVID continues to be a significant risk to our small department and we continue to follow CDC and MDH protocols for awareness and prevention. Both fire stations continue to be closed to the public for the safety of the public and our personnel. Signs have been posted at both stations. Part Time Staff Accomplishments: - Cleaning and general maintenance at both stations. - Vehicle and equipment inspections. - Assisted with Burn Permit applications. - Vehicle repairs as possible. - Increased decontamination of apparatus and stations. - Training of new personnel.
