CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 08-244 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAKE ELMO CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES BY <br />AMENDING SECTION 130.15 TO ALLOW HUNTING ON CITY -OWNED PROPERTY <br />WHEN SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby amends Title XIII, <br />General Offenses: Chapter 130: Section 130.15 Use of Firearms; Hunting; by deleting the <br />following stfike*,w,.,,language and adding the following underlined language: <br />§ 130.15 USE OF FIREARMS; HUNTING <br />The provisions of Minnesota Statutes Section 97B.001 apply to hunting and the use of firearms <br />in the City, including, but not limited to, the provisions set forth in subdivision 7 (a) of this <br />statute. There shall be no huntingon n City -owned property unless otherwise determined by the <br />City Council by resolution. Should the City Council decide to allow hunting on City -owned <br />property, the resolution adopted by the City Council will outline the dates, times, and conditions <br />of the hunting activities that may occur and will include a map of the authorized location(s). <br />SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon adoption <br />and publication in the official newspaper of the City of Lake Elmo. <br />SECTION 3. Adoption Date.
