ORDINANCE NO. 08-244
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAKE ELMO CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES BY
AMENDING SECTION 130.15 TO ALLOW HUNTING ON CITY -OWNED PROPERTY
WHEN SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby amends Title XIII,
General Offenses: Chapter 130: Section 130.15 Use of Firearms; Hunting; by deleting the
following stfike*,w,.,,language and adding the following underlined language:
§ 130.15 USE OF FIREARMS; HUNTING
The provisions of Minnesota Statutes Section 97B.001 apply to hunting and the use of firearms
in the City, including, but not limited to, the provisions set forth in subdivision 7 (a) of this
statute. There shall be no huntingon n City -owned property unless otherwise determined by the
City Council by resolution. Should the City Council decide to allow hunting on City -owned
property, the resolution adopted by the City Council will outline the dates, times, and conditions
of the hunting activities that may occur and will include a map of the authorized location(s).
SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon adoption
and publication in the official newspaper of the City of Lake Elmo.
SECTION 3. Adoption Date. This Ordinance 08- 2*vas adopted on this VY day of F& .
