ORDINANCE NO. 08-219
AN ORDINANCE RE, NAMING A STREET IN THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO.
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby renames Stillwater Boulevard:
SECTION 2.
Subd. 1. For the purpose of this ordinance, the terms defined in this section Shall have the
meanings ascribed to them.
Subd. 2. Existing Street Name. The term existing street name shall mean the name by which a
street is designated on the on the Washington County Highway and platting records.
Subd. 3. New Street Name. The term new street name shall mean the name by which a street
shall be known from and after the effective date of this ordinance,
SECTION 3. The Existing Street Name of Stillwater Boulevard shall have 'a New Street Name of
Stillwater Way N,
SECTION 4. The adjustment shall not affect the entire length of Stillwater Boulevard. The section
which will be renamed is further described as North of the realigned Stillwater Boulevard/CSAH 14 and
West of the realigned Stillwater Boulevard/CSAH 15 and is shown in Exhibit A.
SECTION 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon adoption and
publication in the official newspaper of the City of Lake Elmo.
SECTION 6. Adoption Date. This Ordinance 08-219 was adopted on this 2,d day of January 2019, by a
vote of 3 Ayes and D Nays.
