WHEREAS, Leonard Hanson
has applied for a Conditional Use Pe ' rmit foranOpen_SalesLot

1.98-3----; and has submitted all required information and fees for the
application for such permit; and,
WHEREAS, Section _301,D70 D_,,_ 1_. -_b 5 of the
Municipal Code of Lake.Elmo requires a Conditional Use Permit to
operate Lot
in the' City of Lake Elmo; and,
WHEREAS, Sections- 301.130 Q D. E. E. G.
of the Municipal Code of Lake Elmo sets forth the conditions under
which said permit may be granted and such use permitted; and,,
WHEREAS, the applicant meets or exceeds all the conditions
set forth above;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lake Elmo,
THAT, the Conditional Use Permit for an Open Sales Lot

is hereby granted to Leonard Hanson
from January 1, 1.98 3 through December 31, 198 3 subject to
the following conditions:
1. There shall be no permanent structures built in'support of
this use.
2. The display area for all eauipment including the presently
permitted horse -trailers shall not exceed and area of 1501,
by 3001 (east -west) in the SE, area of the property
3. All other storage of equipine.nt.shall be either inside a building
or screened from Hwy. 12 and neighboring properties as
provided by the zon'iig Ordinance.

4. One 4'x 81 non -flashing, illuminated sign shall be permitted.
5. The present ponds shall be kept clean and not be filled.
This Conditional Use. Permit may be rescinded,
after a 2 week notice and a pub'.I.ic hearing,
if the City Council finds that the public health,
safety, or welfare is jeopordizFd.
