RESOLUTION NO.2021-088
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A NO ON -STREET PARKING ZONE
ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY (CSAH) 13
(IDEAL AVENUE) FROM HIDDEN BAY TRAIL TO 44TH STREET
(PROJECT NO. S.A.P. 082-613-042)
WHEREAS, Washington County, in conjunction with the City of Lake Elmo and the City of Oakdale
has planned improvements for Ideal Avenue North (CSAH 13) from 800 feet North of CSAH 14 (34th Street
North) to 44th Street North in the Cities of Lake Elmo and Oakdale; and
WHEREAS, Ideal Avenue is designated as a County State Aid Highway; and
WHEREAS, Washington County will be expending County State Aid Funds on the improvements on
CSAH 13; and
WHEREAS, these improvements do not provide adequate width for parking on the west side of Ideal
Avenue North from Hidden Bay Trail North to 44th Street North; and approval of the proposed construction as a
County State Aid Highway must therefore be conditioned upon certain restrictions; and
WHEREAS, The City has reviewed the Plans and concurs that parking shall not be allowed as stated
above.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED,
1. That the City Council of Lake Elmo concurs that no on -street parking be allowed along the west side of
Ideal Avenue North (CSAH 13) from Hidden Bay Trail North to 44th Street North at all times.
ADOPTED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE SEVENTEENTH DAY OF AUGUST 2021.
