ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES October 16, 2014 I. CALL TO ORDER. Mayor Pearson called the meeting to order at 6:36 P.M.
PRESENT: Mike Pearson, Anne Cohen, John Schiltz, Wally Nelson, John Thompson, Linda
Larson, Mark Gaertner and Steve Nelson Also Present: City Administrator Zuleger and Deputy Clerk Gumatz
II. ACCEPT AUGUST 21, 2014 MINUTES The August 21, 2014 EDA Minutes were approved by a consensus of the Authority.
III. ADOPT RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT
City Administrator Zuleger explained the Resolution that was before the Authority. It was decided that the Public Hearing will happen at the next EDA meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 6:30PM. Steve Nelson moved to approve Resolution No. 2014-003, a RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.
1. Anne Cohen seconded the motion. MOTION PASSED 7-0. There was discussion regarding what is happening next for the downtown. There was also discussion of Tuesday’s Council Workshop meeting.
IV. ADJOURN
