SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED:
The commission is being asked to consider expenditures related to a map and directional sign system for Sunfish Lake Park and a “Woodland Restoration Project” interpretive panel for
Pebble Park.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
City staff has received reports of park users getting lost in Sunfish Lake Park. The current wood map at the park is in poor condition, out of date, and not accurate. There are no
maps available to assist with orientation along the trail.
Staff will be presenting a revised Sunfish Lake Park trail map, plans for a map / directional sign system, and associated costs. In addition, a draft and associated costs for a “Woodland
Restoration Project” interpretive panel for Pebble Park will be presented.
