The Park Commission is being asked to review and comment on City Staff’s recommendation that applicants of the Eder’s Century Pines Subdivision pay cash in lieu of park land dedication
and that the fee be determined by a set fee of $3,600 per lot, in this case $10,800.00.
The proposed subdivision is to re-subdivide 78.5 acres of land that is located west of Keats Avenue, east of Julep Avenue and to the north and south of 47th Street. The purpose of the
subdivision is to facilitate the division of the family farm property among the remaining family members. The proposed plat will contain 6 separate lots (plus two small outlots) ranging
in size from a minimum of 10.6 acres to a maximum of 12.8 acres. There is no planned development with the request.
