Review month end activity update from fire department.

We had 46 calls in July.

Incidents through July 2021: 301 (2020 YTD: 329)
Our average response time was 9.2 minutes from alarm to arrival. 23 calls had 3 or less
responders minus the Duty Officer with 6 calls having only 1 personnel on the first due
apparatus. The Duty Officer was the only responder 3 times this month.

Points of Interest:
- Personnel have been oiling and mapping hydrants throughout our city and will be
performing these tasks more consistently as staffing and emergency calls allow.
- Personnel have begun to collect and catalog excessive items to go to auction as we
prepare to consolidate the stations for the future building.
Part Timer Accomplishments:
- Cleaning and general maintenance at both stations.
- Vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Assisted with Burn Permit applications.
- Vehicle repairs as possible.
- Increased decontamination of apparatus and stations.
- Training of new personnel.
- Hydrant mapping and valve oiling.
- Organizing and prepping all excess equipment for sale or disposal.
