ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Should the City Council accept the improvements and approve Pay Request No. 1 (FINAL) for the 2021 Crack Seal Project? BACKGROUND: The 2021 Crack Seal Project has been fully completed. The Project Engineer has prepared a Certificate of Completion and is recommending acceptance of the improvements and release of payment in full. The one-year warranty period will begin on September 7, 2021, and will extend to September 7, 2022.
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: Asphalt Surface Technologies has submitted Pay Request No. 1 (FINAL) in the amount of $40,260.00. The request has been reviewed and payment is recommended in the amount requested.
FISCAL IMPACT: None. Payment is proposed in accordance with the contract for the project. The project has been completed within the authorized scope and budget.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff is recommending that the City Council, as part of the Consent Agenda, accept the improvements and approve Pay Request No. 1 (FINAL) to Asphalt Surface Technologies in the amount of $40,260.00 for the 2021 Crack Seal Project. If removed from the consent agenda, the recommended motion for the action is as follows:
“Move to accept the improvements and approve Pay Request No. 1 (FINAL) to Asphalt Surface Technologies in the amount of $40,260.00 for the 2021 Crack Seal Project”.
