AGENDA ITEM: Approve Revised 2023 Meeting Calendar

BACKGROUND: Adopting a meeting calendar serves as the official notice for the year of all upcoming meetings;
thereby, satisfying legal requirements and increasing transparency to the general public. If approved, the meeting calendar will be posted on the City’s website. The 2023 meeting calendar was approved by Council at the December 6, 2022 meeting.
PROPOSAL: As part of its Consent Agenda, the City Council is respectfully requested to approve the revised 2023 City Meeting Calendar or amend as necessary. Staff is recommending that the Tuesday, November 7, 2023 City Council Meeting be moved to Wednesday, November 8, 2023 due to school district elections that will be held on November 7th. Minnesota State Statues prohibit
public meetings on election day. RECOMMENDATION: If removed from the Consent Agenda:
“Move to approve the amended 2023 Meeting Calendar.”

None
ATTACHMENTS: Updated 2023 Meeting Calendar with proposed change.
