AGENDA ITEM: Approve 2024 Meeting Schedule

BACKGROUND:
Adopting a meeting calendar serves as the official notice for the year of all upcoming meetings; thereby, satisfying legal requirements and increasing transparency to the general public. If approved, the meeting calendar will be posted at City Hall and on the City’s website.
PROPOSAL:
Changes to normal meeting dates on the 2024 calendar include moving the Board of Review meeting to a Council Meeting night and adjustments due to elections and National Night to Unite.
As part of its Consent Agenda, the City Council is respectfully requested to approve the 2024
City Meeting schedule or amend as necessary. RECOMMENDATION: “Move to approve the 2024 Meeting Schedule.”

City Council Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. & Workshops are held at 6:30 p.m. Planning Commission Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on 2nd & 4th Mon. Parks Commission Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on 3rd Mon. Board of Appeal and Equalization held 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. in April All meetings are held in the Council Chambers unless otherwise noted National Night to Untie- August 6th
