CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MINUTES
OCTOBER 10, 2023
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 6.30 pm.
PRESENT: Mayor Cadenhead, Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Matt Him, Jeff Holtz and
Lisa McGinn.
Staff present: City Administrator, Public Works Director Powers, City Planner Jensen, and City
Clerk Johnson.
Criteria for New Ball Park
City Planner Jensen presented 13 recommended criteria for locations and amenities for a new
ball park. Discussion was held with consensus on the criteria for location, lot size and amenities.
Additional activities to be accommodated at the site were also discussed to provide a multi -use
sports park.
Items for Future Meeting
City Administrator Handt noted that future meeting items will include two development sketch
plans, updated utility ling range plan and engineering firm interviews.
Meeting adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
