The goal of the water efficiency grant program is to improve municipal water use. This funding has enabled Lake Elmo to provide a rebate to current water customers who replace existing devices with specified water efficient products. Qualifying purchases are eligible for a rebate on your water bill. More information is available on the City's website via the link below. Rebate We want your input! Survey Temporary Tree Debris Drop-off Site A temporary drop-off site has opened at Belwin Conservancy's Lucy Winton Bell Athletic Fields for tree debris caused by the recent ice/snowstorm. The site will be open through May 31. The site is free and open to residents only. (No business waste.) The site will accept wood waste from storm damage only. No root balls, stumps, yard waste, or grass clippings. Location: Belwin Conservancy's Lucy Winton Bell Athletic Fields 15601 Hudson Rd. N. | Afton, MN 55001 Hours: Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The site will be closed on Saturday, May 20 due to an event. Residents may notice changes in water pressure but it will be temporary. Flushing hydrants ensures the hydrants are working properly and checks for an adequate flow of water that would be needed in the event of a fire. Watering Restrictions Reminder: City ordinance allows for outdoor watering between the hours of 6PM and 5AM and follows an odd/even schedule. Properties with even-numbered postal addresses may water, sprinkle, or irrigate their lawns only on even- numbered days. Properties with odd-numbers postal addresses may water only on odd- numbered days. Park and Court Reservations Spring is here and we are in high gear with park reservations. The Parks Commission meets 1 time per month and the EDA meets quarterly. No experience is necessary!
