CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MINUTES
AUGUST 27, 2024
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Mayor Cadenhead, Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Nick Dragisich, Matt Him
and Jeff Holtz.
Staff present: City Administrator Miller, Administrative Services Director Goers, Finance Director
Hadler, Public Works Director Powers, Fire Chief Kalis, City Planner Jensen, Accountant Kraemer
and City Clerk Johnson.
2025 Budget
Finance Director Hadler presented an overview of the 2025 draft budget, revenues and levy.
Discussion was held regarding expenditures for training, strategic planning, communications,
supplies and miscellaneous categories. Planning consultant, fire department staffing and
franchise fees were also discussed.
Tender 2 Replacement
Fire Chief Kalis discussed the Tender 2 truck features and use. Council consensus to move
forward with accelerated replacement of Tender 2 to receive delivery in 2027.
Meeting adjourned at 8:58 p.m.
