RESOLUTION NO.2025-042
A RESOLUTION APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON
COUNTY FOR THE COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY (CSAH) 13 IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Washington County intends to construct improvements at County State Aid Highway
(CSAH) 13 (Inwood Avenue N.), from CSAH 10 (100' Street N.) to CSAH 6 (Stillwater Boulevard) in the
City of Lake Elmo, herein referred to as the "Prof ect ; and
WHEREAS, the County and City agree to share in certain local costs included in the Project as
detailed in the attached Cooperative Cost Share Agreement; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of this project, the County and City agree to their respective
ownership and maintenance responsibilities as identified in the attached Cooperative Construction
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, a cooperative effort between the County and City is the appropriate method to facilitate
the construction of these improvements and project cost sharing of the items constructed by the Project; and
WHEREAS, this Agreement is made pursuant to statutory authority contained in Minnesota Statute
162.17 sub.1 and Minnesota Statute 471.59.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
1. That Cooperative Agreement 17410 for the project costs of County State Aid IIighway (CSAII)
13 (Inwood Avenue N.), between the City of Lake Elmo and Washington County, is hereby
approved and the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the agreement
on behalf of the City of Lake Elmo.
ADOPTED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE THIRD DAY OF JUNE, 2025.
