Existing Street Conditions
•Streets were last evaluated for
condition in 2023.
•Streets are in poor condition,
reclaim or full reconstruction is
necessary to rehabilitate
pavements.
Scope of Improvements
Street and drainage improvements for those identified in the 2026 CIP, the
type and extent of improvements based on geotechnical investigation.

review of the system will be completed and repairs will be
recommended if necessary.

or corrections deemed necessary to restore or improve the drainage
systems.
Street geometrics and widths together with on-s tre e t parking re s tric tions will
be reviewed to determine if any improvements or changes are recommended.
All streets in the project area are outside of the MUSA boundaries and are
served by private wastewater treatment systems, no sanitary sewer
extensions are proposed as part of the project.

JUNE 3, 2025 Council authorizes preliminary design, geotechnical services, and Orders Feasibility Report.
AUGUST 13, 2025 Neighborhood Meeting on Scope of Improvements.
SEPTEMBER 16, 2025 Presentation of Feasibility Report and Preliminary Design.
Council accepts Report and calls for Hearing on Improvement.
OCTOBER 21, 2025 Public Improvement Hearing. Council Orders the Improvement and authorizes preparation of
Plans and Specifications.
JANUARY 6, 2026 Council approves Plans and Specifications and orders. Advertisement for Bids is authorized.
FEBRUARY 5, 2026 Project Bid Date: Receive Contractor Bids
FEBRUARY 17, 2026 Council Accepts Bids and Awards Contract.
MARCH, 2026 Conduct Pre -Construction Meeting and Issue Notice to Proceed.
•AUGUST 28, 2026 Substantial Completion
•OCTOBER 16, 2026 Final Completion

Requested Council Action
•Council is asked to consider approving a resolution Ordering Preparation of
Preliminary Design, Geotechnical Services and Feasibility Report for the
2026 Street and Utility Improvements.
