CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 9, 2024
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 8:09 p.m.
PRESENT: Mayor Charles Cadenhead, Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Nick Dragisich,
Matt Hirn and Jeff Holtz.
Staff present: Interim Administrator Schroeder, Administrative Services Director Goers, Finance
Director Hadler, Fire Chief Kalis, Public Works Director Powers, Community Development
Director Stolpa, Assistant Fire Chief Svoboda and City Clerk Johnson.
Interim Administrator Schroeder reviewed the search process for a new City Administrator and
the next steps in the process. Discussion was held concerning candidates A and B.
Councilmember Hirn, seconded by Councilmember Holtz, moved TO DIRECT MAYOR
CADENHEAD AND INTERIM ADMININSTRATOR SCHROEDER TO NEGOTIATE A
CONTRACT WITH CANDIDATE B FOR THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION.
Motion passed 4 – 1. (Beckstrom – nay)
Meeting adjourned at 8:51 p.m.
