THE 2026 BUDGET AND 2026 PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR TUESDAY DECEMBER

WHEREAS, The City of Lake Elmo is required by State lave to approve a resolution
setting forth an annual property tax levy to the Washington County Auditor; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require approval of a proposed property tax levy and a
proposed budget on or before September 30th of each year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received the :Proposed budget document;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake
Elmo, that the Proposed 2026 Budget shall be as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday
December 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo,
Washington County, Minnesota, that the following sums of money be levied in 2025, for
collection in 2026 upon the taxable property in said City of Lake Elmo for the following
purposes:

And
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to transmit this information to the County Auditor of Washington County, Minnesota
and the Minnesota Department of Revenue, if applicable, in the format requested as required by
law.
