RESOLUTION NO.2025 - 084
RESOLUTION SETTING THE 2026 PROPERTY TAX LEVY
AND ADOPTING VARIOUS 2026 BUDGETS
WHEREAS, The City of Lake Ehno is required by State law to approve a resolution
setting forth an annual property tax levy to the Washington County Auditor; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes currently in force require approval of a property tax levy
and a budget in December of each year; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, December t6, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
NOW THE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo,
Washington County, Minnesota, that the following sums of money be levied for collection in 2026
upon the taxable property in said City of Lake Ehno for the following proposes:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to transmit this information to the County Auditor of Washington County, Minnesota and
the Minnesota Department of Revenue, if applicable, in the format requested as required by law.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, that
the following budgets are hereby adopted as shown in attached 2026 Budget & Tax Levies Book;
• 2026 General Fund (Fund 101) Budget
• 2026 Debt Service (Funds 323 - 335) Budgets
• 2026 City Center Capital (Fund 403) Budget
• 2026 Fire Equipment & Project (Fund 407) Budget
• 2026 Street Maintenance (Fund 408) Budget
• 2026 Infrastructure Reserve (Fund 409) Budget
• 2026 Vehicle & Equipment (Fund 410) Budget
• 2026 Ballpark Fund (Fund 412) Budget
• 2026 Water Fund (Fund 601) Budget
• 2026 Sewer Fund (Fund 602) Budget
2026 Stormwater Fund (Fund 603) Budget
• 2026 Water Capital Fund (Fund 611) Budget
• 2026 Sewer Capital Fund (Fund 612) Budget
• 2026 Stormwater Capital Fund (Frmd 613) Budget
• 2026 City Center Operations (Fund 703) Budget
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Capital Levy amounts shall be deposited to the
following funds as described below for use toward future improvement and replacement of capital
assets;
