returns to share more on
prairie ecosystems
The Sally Manzara Interpretive Nature Center

This is the second in a series of

glasses and flowers. No matter what size
prairie you are interested in, from acreage to
small plot, this class covers all steps of
planning a preparation as well as
maintenance to ensure your creation
continues to thrive for years to come. This
class also provides information about
budget, site selection, plant or seed

Please Pick up the Poo!
As the snow melts, please remember to pick
up and properly dispose of pet waste when
walking your dog and in your yard. Dog feces
can carry harmful bacteria and parasites
and contains nutrients that contribute to
water pollution.
When left on the ground, waste can wash
into storm drains and nearby lakes, rivers,
and wetlands, impacting water quality and
public health. City ordinance requires pet
owners to clean up after their pets —please
bring a bag on walks and dispose of waste
in the trash.
