Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Holiday Lights Not Working?
Recycle Them the Right Way
As you get ready to decorate for the holidays,
remember that old or broken holiday lights and
extension cords do not belong in your curbside
recycling bin!
These long, stringy items can get tangled in
recycling facility equipment, causing damage and
delays.
Instead, give them a new purpose by taking them
to a designated recycling drop-off center or
participating retailer.
🎄 A little recycling know-how goes a long way
toward keeping our recycling system running
smoothly! Learn more about hours, accepted
materials and other yard waste options through
Washington County.
