RESOLUTION NO. 92-17
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RECOMMENDATION
OF THE CSAH13 STUDY COMMITTEE
FOR SHORT AND LONG TERM IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ROADWAY
WHEREAS, at the request of the Tri-Lakes Association,
Washington County Public Works Department organized the
formation of a committee to study improvements to CSAH13;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo supported the committee
formation and designated a City Council, staff member, and
resident to represent the City; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation of the study committee is
consistent, in part, with the city's trail system plan which
identifies a bikeway, pedway along CSAH13; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo will amend its trail
system plan to coincide with the recommendation of the study
committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Lake Elmo City
Council supports the recommendation of the CSAH13 Study
Committee for the provision by Washington County of four (4)
foot paved shoulders from TH5 to TH36 as a short term
solution, and rebuilding CSAH13 from TH5 to 50th Street
North as a long-term solution, with the opportunity to
provide for a separated trail through this segment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Lake Elmo
supports the inclusion of CSAH13 from Stillwater Boulevard
to TH5 with the proposed improvements.
