CITY OF LAKE ELMO
WHEREAS, The City of Lake Elmo has obtained the Commissioner's approval of the
plans for the following Municipal State Aid Street Project(s):
MSAP 206 - 103 -01 Jarnaca Avenue
MSAP 206 -104 -04 Lake Jane Trail
consisting of Right -o£ -way, Erosion Control, Grading, Aggregate Base, Retaining Walls,
Concrete Curb and Gutter, Storm Sewer, Watermain, Bituminous Surfacing and. Restoration.
WHEREAS, The portion of the total project cost that is eligible for State Aid Funds is
estimated as follows:
Construction (as bid)
MSAP 206- 103 -01 $475,203.97
MSAP 206 - 104 -04 257.781.03
Subtotal $732,985.00
Engineering $131,937.00
Right- of-way $ 7 QQQ.00
Total $871,922.00
AND, WHEREAS, said City is prepared to proceed with the construction of said project(s) by
providing local fiends to supplement the available funds in its Municipal State -Aid Street
Account and, WHEREAS, repayment of the funds so advanced by the municipality is desired in
accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 16214, Subdivision 6.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Commissioner of Transportation be
and is hereby requested to approve this basis for financing and construction project(s) and to
authorize repayments from the subsequent accruals to the Construction Account of Municipal
State -Aid Street Fund for said City within the limitations provided by law and at the times and in
the amounts ass herein indicated:
On or after Feb. 1., 1994 - $154,000 from 1994 Allotment
On or after Feb. l., 1995 - $ 48,957 from 1995 Allotment
ERTIFICATION
1, Mary Kueffner, duly appointed and qualified Administrator in and for the City of Lake Elmo,
State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the above is a true and full copy of a resolution
adopted by the City Council assembled in regular session on the 17th day of August, 1993.
