Home My WebLink AboutResolution 94-15City of Lake Elmo Washington County, Minnesota Resolution 94- 15 A Resolution Amending Resolution 87-33 WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo spent considerable time reviewing the 1990 Comprehensive Plan's Future Land Use Map; and WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission has completed a revision, held public hearings on the proposed changes, and recommended an additional 464 acres of land be designated Residential Estates Density (RED) on the 1990 Comprehensive Plan's Future Land Use Map; and WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo submitted said plan to the Metropolitan Council for review- and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council approved the Lake Elmo 1990 Comprehensive Plan Amendment allowing 464 acres to be designated Residential Estates Density on its Future Land Use Map at its March 3, 1994 meeting; and WHEREAS, The 1990 Lake Elmo Comprehensive Plan was amended to designate the future land use of 464 acres of land to be Residential Estates Density., and WHEREAS, included in this 464 acres with a future land use designation of Residential Estates is "Outlot A - Lake Elmo Heights 2nd Addition-, and WHEREAS, the owner of Outlot A - Lake Elmo Heights 2nd Addition made application to the City of Lake Elmo for rezoning of Outlot A - Lake Elmo Heights 2nd Addition from Rural Residential to Residential Estates; and WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 12, 1993, to consider this request; and WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council granted the requested rezoning on April 7, 1994; and WHEREAS, the Lake Eli-no City Council directed its staff to prepare an amendment to Resolution 87-33, the Resolution approving the Final Plat For Lake Elmo Heights 2nd Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Condition 6. of Resolution 87-33 which states "Outlet A will remain open space and nothing more than one single family dwelling will be allowed on Outlet A". is hereby rescinded.
