COUNTY OF WASHINTON
RESOLUTION O. 95-54
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE WASHINGTON COUNTY LANDFILL.
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the following documents and
received advice from its legal counsel regarding such documents:
I. A Settlement and Release of Claims Agreement between the
City and Washington County.
2. A Landfill Cleanup Agreement between the City, Washington
County and Ramsey County including the following
attachments relating to City responsibilities:
a. Attachment B - Easement (Landfill Site).
b. Attachment D - Easement (Maintenance Site).
C. Attachment E - Easement (Park Site).
d. Attachment F - Use Restrictions (Landfill Site).
e. Attachment H Use Restrictions (Maintenance Site).
f. Attachment I Use Restrictions (Park Site).
9- Attachment L-2 ® City Waiver of Claims.
WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of October 3, 1995,
determined that it was in the best interests of the City to resolve
all matters relating to the Washington County Landfill Site
pursuant to the terms and conditions of the above agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT
I The Mayor and City Administrator are directed to execute
the Settlement and Release of Claims Agreement, and the
Landfill Cleanup Agreement; and
2 The Mayor is hereby directed to execute Attachments B, D,
E, F, H, I, and L-2 of the Landfill Cleanup Agreement.
