Resolution 96-19
A Resolution Requesting A Speed Study of CSAH 13
from CSAH 6 (Stillwater Blvd.) to CSAH 10 (Tenth Street)
and the placement of Stop Signs on 27th Street and CSAH 13 (Inwood Avenue)
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lake Elmo City Council hereby requests that Washington
County conducts a traffic speed survey to determine if 30 miles per hour is a safe and reasonable
speed for the following street, and consider the placement of stop signs on 27th Street and CSAH 13
(Inwood Avenue)-
CSAH 13 (Inwood Avenue) from CSAH 6 (Stillwater Boulevard) to CSAH 10 (Tenth Street)
in particular the area of heavy residential development existing and under construction
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the speed study indicates a proposed increase in the
posted speed rather that a decrease, the City of Lake Elmo shall be so advised and shall be given the
opportunity to review and comment on the study.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon determination of 30 miles per hour as a safe and
reasonable speed on the above street, that Washington County, upon completion of the
reconstruction of CSAH 13 post such speed limit.
