RESOLUTION NO. 96-34
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING
THE WINNERS OF THE 1996 LOCAL ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council must meet within two days of a City General
Election to certify the results of the local election; and
WHEREAS, the following is the results of the City General Election as they appear on
the face of the election returns:

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Lake Elmo City Council declares Wyn John
elected as Mayor of the City of Lake Elmo, for a 2-year term, by a majority vote of the registered
voters of the City of Lake Elmo.
Be it further resolved that the Lake Elmo City Council declares Susan Dunn and Rita
Conlin elected as Council members, for 4-Year terms, by a majority of the registered voters of the
City of Lake Elmo.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo CIty Council this 71h day/'of November, 1996.
