CITY OF LAKE ELMO, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the City. of Lake Elmo desires to reconstruct 30th Street from CSAH 17 to
CSAH 15, using Municipal State Aid funds, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Minnesota Rule 8820.9936 the minimum design speed is
30 mph, and
WHEREAS, the proposed 10 mph Round-A-Bout at the intersection of 30th Street and
Lisbon Avenue does not conform to Minnesota Rule 8820.9936,
NOW, THEREFoRE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we do hereby authorize the City Engineer
to request a variance from Minnesota Rule 8820,9936 for the design speed on the Round-
A-Bout intersection of 30th Street and Lisbon Avenue.
Adopted by the City Council this 6th day of May, 1997.
