City of Lake Elmo Washington County, Minnesota Resolution 97-27 A Resolution Setting Fees For Building Permits, Fees, Bonds, Culverts, Excavating and Grading, Private Roads, Moving Structures into City, Pursuant to Chapter 5, Section 505 Of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code WHEREAS, the Lake EImo City Council adopted the 1997 Lake Elmo Municipal Code at its February 18, 1997, meeting; and WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Section 505 empowers the Council to set the fees for Building Permits, Fees, Bonds, Culverts, Excavating and Grading, Private Roads, and Moving Structures into City, by a resolution approved by a majority of the Council. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council hereby adopts the following fees for Chapter 5, Section 505 of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code: 1. Bond or cash deposit to protect permanent streets or curbs during construction: $500.00 2. Building Demolition. First 1000 square feet: $ 50,00 Each additional 1000 square feet or portion thereof: $ 10.00 3. New Construction and Alterations:' Per 1994 Uniform Building Code 4. Plan Review: Sixty -Five Percent (65 01a) of the Building Permit Fee 5. Excavation and Grading: $100.00 Escrow: $500.00 6. Heating: New Residential $ 100.00 Addition to Residential $ 50.00 Commercial $ 150.00 or One Percent (I %) of total job cost 7. Moving House or Primary Structure Into City' $ 150.00 Escrow: $ 250.00 Bond and Insurance To be determined by City Council on a case -by -case basis. Moving Garage or Accessory Building Into City': $ 100.00 Escrow: $ 100.00 Bond and Insurance To be determined by City Council on a case -by -case basis.
