Resolution 97-32
A Resolution Setting Fees For
Animal Licenses and Impound Fees Pursuant to Chapter 13, Section 1320
Of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council adopted the 1997 Lake Elmo Municipal Code at its
February 18, 1997, meeting; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 13, Section 1320 empowers the Council to set the fees for Animal Licenses
and Impound Fees by a resolution approved by a majority of the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council hereby adopts the following Animal
Licenses and Impound fees:
Dog License: $10 per year
2. Dog Impound: Unlicensed: $50 First Impound
Licensed $25 First Impound
3. Cat Impound: $25 First Impound
4. Subsequent Dog /Cat Impound fees shall be
double the previous impound fee
5. Duplicate License Certificate or Tag: $1
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Council will review Animal Licenses Fees in its
review and preparation of the yearly budget.
Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this 3`d day of June 1997.
