RESOLUTION NO. 98 -12
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A MINOR SUBDIVISION TO GABRIEL SHERMAN
AND MIKE POTT
WHEREAS, Gabriel P. Sherman has made application to the City of Lake Elmo for a minor
subdivision to Section 400.10 of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code of the following described parcel
of land; to wit:
Sherman Parcel: (Parcel A)
The North Five (5) acres of the South Thirty-Seven (37) acres of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter (NW1 /4 of SW1 /4) of Section One (1), Township Twenty -Nine (29), Range
Twenty -One (21), Subject to the Public Highway along the West side of said tract; the North Three
(3) acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NW1 /4 of SW1 /4) of Section One
(1), Township Twenty -Nine (29), Range Twenty -One (21), subject to the Public Highway along the
West side of said tract and the South Two (2) acres of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter (SWi /4 of NW1 /4) of Section One (1), Township Twenty -Nine (29), Range Twenty -One
(21), subject to the Public Highway along the West side of said tract, Washington County,
Minnesota
Pott Parcel: (Parcel B)
That part of the South 32 acres of the NW1 /4 of the SW114 of Section 1, Township 29 North,
Range 21 West, lying North of the South 731 feet thereof. Subject to Lake Elmo Avenue North
(a.k.a. County State Aid Highway No. 17) along the West line according to the United States
Government Survey thereof.
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission considered this minor subdivision requested
at its February 9, 1998 meeting and recommended that a minor subdivision be granted to Gabriel
Sherman;
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council reviewed the recommendation of the Planning
Commission at its meeting on February 17, 1998 and has determined that the application for a
minor subdivision is in compliance with the regulations of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a minor subdivision be granted and said minor
subdivision shall result in the following described parcels.
PARCEL A -1 {proposed as requested by Gabriel Sherman.
The north 8 acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the South 2 acres of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, all in Section 1, Township 29 North, Range 21 West,
Washington County, Minnesota. Subject to Lake Elmo Avenue (also known as County Road No.
17). Subject to and together with any other valid easements, restrictions and reservations.
PARCEL B -1 (proposed as requested by Mike Pott:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 29 North,
Range 21 West, Washington County, Minnesota, lying north of the south 731 feet thereof and
lying south of the north 8 acres thereof. Subject to Lake Elmo Avenue (also known as County
Road No. 17).
ADOPTED by the Lake Elmo City Council this 17th day of February, 1998.
