WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council must meet within two days of a City General Election
to certify the results of the local election; and
WHEREAS, the following is the results of the City General Election as they appear on the face of
the election returns:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lake Elmo City Council declares Lee Hunt
elected as Mayor of the City of Lake Elmo, for a 2 -year term, by a majority vote of the registered voters
of the City of Lake Elmo.
BE, IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lake Elmo City Council declares Rosemary E.
Armstrong and Steve DeLapp elected as Council members for 4 -Year terms, and Chuck Siedow for a 2-
year term, by a majority of the registered voters of he City of Lake Elmo.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 5t' day of November, 1998.
