RESOLUTION 99 -51
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MUNICIPAL WATER TO SERVE THE 110 ACRES
OF LAND CURRENTLY WITH THE CITY'S MUNICIPAL URBAN SERVICE
AREA; AND TO INCLUDE IN THIS FEASIBILITY THE COST FOR EXTENDING
THIS MUNICIPAL WATER ACROSS A TOTAL OF 440 ACRES
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the 110 acres of land within the City's
Municipal Urban Service Area by installing municipal water, and to assess the benefited
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY
COUNCIL, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and
that he is instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the
council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is
necessary, cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether it should be made as
proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost
of the improvement as recommended.
Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this 17'h day of August, 1999.
