City of Lake Elmo <br />Washington County, Minnesota <br />Resolution 99-26 <br />A Resolution Accepting Bid For 1999 Crackfilling <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1999 Crackfilling, bids <br />were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement. <br />1. Northwest Asphalt Maintenance $21,960.00 <br />2. Northland Sealing - Striping $23,360.00 <br />3. Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $24,801.00 <br />4. Bergman Companies $29,600.00 <br />S. Daffinson Inc. $31,600.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Northwest Asphalt Maintenance is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE <br />ELMO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and City Clerk/Administrator are hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into a contract with Northwest Asphalt Maintenance in the name of <br />the City of Lake Elmo for the 1999 Crackfilling project according to the plans <br />and specification therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk/Administrator. <br />2. The City Clerk/Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the <br />deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained <br />until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this 20"' day of April 1999. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Mary uefIn��r�, City C11-crVAdministrator <br />
