Resolution 99-26
A Resolution Accepting Bid For 1999 Crackfilling
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1999 Crackfilling, bids
were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement.
1. Northwest Asphalt Maintenance $21,960.00
2. Northland Sealing - Striping $23,360.00
3. Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $24,801.00
4. Bergman Companies $29,600.00
S. Daffinson Inc. $31,600.00
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Northwest Asphalt Maintenance is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE
ELMO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk/Administrator are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into a contract with Northwest Asphalt Maintenance in the name of
the City of Lake Elmo for the 1999 Crackfilling project according to the plans
and specification therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk/Administrator.
2. The City Clerk/Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this 20"' day of April 1999.
