WASHINGTON COUNT', MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION NO. 99- 14
WHEREAS, The Lake Elmo City Council adopted Resolution No. 98 -65 on November 17, 1998,
amending the future land use map of the 1990 Lake Elmo Comprehensive Plan relating to areas annexed
by the April, 1998, Minnesota Municipal Board order subject to favorable review by the Metropolitan
Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council submitted review comments to the City on December 8,
1998; and,
WHEREAS, an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan & Zoning Ordinances regarding Land
Use Classification was subsequently approved by the City of Lake Elmo; and,
WHEREAS, The Lake Elmo Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 25, 1999, to
consider a City - initiated request to consider revisions to the November 17, 1998 amendment to establish
and define Land Use Classification for the area annexed based on the review comments of the
Metropolitan Council and subsequent Plan and Code Amendments; and,
WHEREAS, at its January 25, 1999 meeting, the Planning Commission, on a majority vote,
recommended that the City Council adopt the Land Use Plan classifications set forth in Attachment "A ";
and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 1990 Lake Elmo Comprehensive Plan is
hereby amended, as recommended by the Planning Commission subject to the following condition:
1. Favorable Review by the Metropolitan Council
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 2nd day of February, 1999.
