RESOLUTION NO. 2000-013
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
CONCEPT PLAN OF CARRIAGE HOMES IX FOR WILDERNESS RUN
WHEREAS, Carriage Homes has made application to the City of Lake Elmo for a Planned Unit
Development Concept Plan of Carriage Homes IX for "Wilderness Run" pursuant to Section 300.08 of the
Lake Elmo Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission considered the Planned Unit Development
Concept Plan request at its March 8, 2000 meeting, and recommended that the PUD Concept Plan be
denied based on the following finding:
1. The PUB Concept Plan is not in compliance with the SRD definition of 0.90 units per acre
previously recommended by the Planning Commission.
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council considered the recommendation at a density of 0.90
units per acre density by the Planning Commission at its April 18, 2000 meeting, and approved the PUD
Concept Plan at a density of 1.4 units per acre of Carriage Homes IX for "Wilderness Run"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lake Elmo City Council does hereby
approve the Planned Unit Development Concept .Plan of Carriage Homes IX for "Wilderness Run" as
signed and dated by the City Planner based on the following findings:
1. The Concept Plan conforms to the Comprehensive Plan of the City.
2. The Concept Plan satisfies the intent and purpose of the City's land use, zoning and
subdivision regulations.
3. The Concept Plan is consistent with the public health, safety, and general welfare.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 18`x' day of April, 2000.
