HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-022CITY OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2000-022 A RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITON AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT RE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE ELMO, MINNESOTA 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 50'h Street between State Highway 5 and County Road 17 (Lake Elmo Avenue), filed with the Council on June 20, 2000, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statues 424.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. 3. The Council directed the City Engineer to study traffic calming devices, back -to -back cul-de-sacs, and a bike path connecting to the Stillwater High School.
