A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR THE 50Tx STREET IMPROVEMENT and
CALLING PUBLIC HEARING
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2000 -023 of the City Council adopted June 20, 2000, a report has
been prepared by TKDA with reference to the improvement of 5& Street from State Highway #5 to Lake
Elmo Avenue (CSAH 17), and this report was received by the City Council on July 18, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELMO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Lake Elmo City Council will consider the improvement of 50'' Street from State
Highway #5 to Lake Elmo Avenue (CSAH 17), in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated cost of the improvement of $199,875.
2. The Lake Elmo City Council will also consider with this improvement traffic calming
alternatives, back -to -back cul -de -sacs, and a bike path connecting to the Stillwater Area High
School.
1 A Public Hearing has been ordered on said improvement on the 15`h of August, 2000, at Lake
Elmo City Hall, 7:00 p.m,, and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this I8`h day of July, 2000.
