RESOLUTION NO. 2000-053 <br />C'I'TY OF LAKE ELO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE <br />Y THE STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />TO THE MAPLEWOOD/OAKDALE LIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions has requested that the State or Minnesota issue a <br />One -Day (February 5, 2000) Of -Site Gambling License; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions has requested to sell raffles at a location within an <br />establishment commonly known as the Lake Elmo Tan, located at 3442 Lake Elmo Avenue N., Lake Elmo, <br />Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions comply with the Charitable Gambling rules and <br />regulations as set forth in Section 1110.04 of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Lake Elmo hereby approves <br />the issuance of a charitable gambling application requested by the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 86 day of November, 2000. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary ueffn , ity Admin ator <br />
