A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 50TH STREET FROM STATE HIGHWAY 5
TO COUNTY ROAD 17
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 50TH Street, from State Highway 5 to
County Road 17, by an bituminous overlay, and to assess the benefited property for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY
COUNCIL, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement, Identified as Option 4, as amended by the
City Engineer's memo dated February 15, 2001, be referred to the City
Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to the council with all
convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether
it should be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement,
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
