RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 025
A RESOLUTION RF,CEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR THE 50 "" STREET IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2001 -009 of the City Council adopted February 20, 2001, a
report has been prepared by Tom Prew, TKDA, with reference to the improvement of 501h Street from
State Highway #5 to Lake Elmo Avenue (CSAH17), and this report was received by the City Council on
April 17, 2001.
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,
cost - effective, and feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELMO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Lake Elmo City Council will consider the improvement of 501" Street from State Highway
#5 to Lake Elmo Avenue (CSAH17), in accordance with the report and the assessment of
abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated cost of the improvement of $990,289.00.
2. A Public Hearing has been ordered on said improvement on the I' of May, 2001, at Lake
Elmo City Hall, 7:00 p.m., and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing improvement as required by law.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 17'' day of April, 2001.
