RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 034
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON 50TH STREET NORTH
FROM STA'T'E HIGHWAY 5 TO LADE ELMO AVENUE
THIS RESOLUTION, passed this 15`h day of May, 2001, by the City of Lake Elmo in Washington
County. Minnesota. The Municipal Corporation shall hereinafter be called the "City ", WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the "City" has planned the improvement of 50th Street North from State Highway 5
to Lake Elmo Avenue (CSAH 17)
WHEREAS, the "City" will be expecting Municipal State -Aid Funds on the improvement of this
Street, and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on either side of the
street; and approval of the proposed construction as Municipal State -Aid Funds on the improvement of
this street, and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on either side of the
street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State -Aid Street project must therefore
be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the "City" shall ban the parking of motor
vehicles on 50th Street North at all times.
ADOPTED by the City Council on the 15th day of May, 2001.
