RESOLUTION NO. 2001-076
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR EAGLE POINT BOULEVARD
ROAD IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Eagle Point Boulevard
Roadway improvement, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement.
Tower Asphalt, Inc. $370,647.25
Danner, Inc. $384,141.09
T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $386,322.36
PaIda & Sons $396,960.74
Engineer's Estimate $420,475.50
AND WHEREAS, Tower Asphalt, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE
ELMO, MINNESOTA:
The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Tower Asphalt, Inc. in the name of the City of Lake Elmo for the Eagle
Point Boulevard Road Improvement, according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the city clerk.
2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this I 81h day of September, 2001.
