RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 81
A RESOLUTION VACATING EXISTNG PLATTED DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENTS IN LOT" 15, CARRIAGE STATION
WHEREAS, at the June I 91 meeting of the Lake Elmo City Council, Washington
County, Minnesota, the Council approved the PUD Development Stage Plan, Preliminary
Plat, and the PUD Final Plan and Site Plan for Carriage Homes IX on at 15, Carriage
Station,
WHEREAS, the Final Plan of Carriage Station included the dedication of a drainage
and utility easement along the new property lines.
WHEREAS, at a Public Hearing on September 4, 2001 the City Council considered
the interest of the public in the vacation of the drainage and utility easements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the vacation of drainage and utility
easements dedicated in the plat of Carriage Station, according to the recorded plat thereof,
Washington County, Minnesota, lying within Lot 1.5, Block 1, said Carriage Station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall prepare a notice of Completion
of these proceedings, which shall contain the same of the City, and the identification of the
vacation, a statement of the time of completion thereof, and a description of the land
affected thereby. Such notice shall be presented to the Washington County Auditor who
shall enter the same this transferred record and note upon the instrument over his official
signature the words "entered in the transfer records." The Notice shall then be filed with
County Recorder, all as requested by Minnesota Statues.
ADOPTED by the Lake Elmo City Council this 4th day of September, 2001.
