RESOLUTION NO 2001-098 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE <br />BY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />TO THE MAPLEWOOD/OAKDALE LIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions has requested that the <br />State of Minnesota issue a One-Day (February 4, 2002) Off-Site Gambling <br />License; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions has requested to sell <br />raffles at a location within an establishment commonly known as the Lake <br />Elmo Inn, located at 3442 Lake Elmo Avenue N., Lake Elmo, Minnesota; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions comply with the <br />Charitable Gambling rules and regulations as set forth in Section 1110.04 of <br />the Lake Elmo Municipal Code; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of <br />Lake Elmo hereby approves the issuance of a charitable gambling <br />application requested by the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 7th day of <br />November, 2001. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />Mar K her, ity Administrator <br />
